We are delighted that you are considering Kew College Prep for your child. We invite you to come and visit us to see our wonderful school in action. This is usually through one of our open mornings in the Autumn and Spring terms.

If you are unable to attend an open morning, then our Registrar, Michelle Warburton, offers small group tours most weeks during school term time.

Entry at Nursery (age 3+)

Our Nursery is expanding from September 2025! We will have a rolling admissions process, meaning that children will be able to join us throughout the year, straight after their third birthday, rather than waiting until the following September.

Nursery children are guaranteed a place in our Reception and transition well into our prep school. To find out more about our Nursery please click here.

To secure a place in Nursery, we advise that you register your child as soon as possible. You can find our registration information here.

Registered parents are contacted in the Spring term of the year prior to entry regarding availability of spaces.

Entry at Reception (age 4+)

If you are looking to join our school in Reception, please contact our Registrar, Michelle Warburton, who will be happy to talk to you about availability of places. Children looking to join the school at this age will be invited to a short meeting with the Head of Early Years prior to being offered a place. This will take place in the year before entry.

Occasional places in older years

Occasionally we have families moving out of the area and places become available. To discuss places in older years, please contact our Registrar, Michelle Warburton. Children looking to join in Year 1 upwards, will be invited to join a taster morning with the relevant year group. Those applying to Years 2 and above will also have a short meeting with either our Head of Infants, Mrs Edwards or Deputy Head, Miss Chui.
