Learning Enrichment
At our school, every child is recognised as a unique learner with their own strengths, interests, and ways of thinking. Our Learning Enrichment provision is designed to ensure that all pupils are challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve their personal best.
Our Approach
We believe that high‑quality teaching, thoughtful differentiation, and a nurturing environment are the foundations for successful learning. For many children, there will be a point in their learning journey where they benefit from some extra support in some way. Our Learning Enrichment team works closely with class teachers, from Nursery to Year 6, to identify individual needs early and provide tailored strategies that help pupils grow in confidence and independence.
For pupils who require additional help, we offer personalised support delivered with sensitivity and care. This may include small group interventions, focussing on areas such as literacy, maths, social skills or emotional regulation or in class support via adaptive teaching to meet the needs of all children.
Our Learning Enrichment team work closely with teachers and parents. The aim is to empower pupils by building secure foundations in key skills and strengthening their confidence as learners.
Working in Partnership
We know that a strong home-school partnership is essential. Parents are kept fully informed and involved throughout the process to ensure that support is consistent at home and school and that all parties are aligned with the approach. When appropriate, the team works with external professionals to ensure pupils receive the expertise they need. They also provide regular training to teaching staff, allowing teachers to provide in class support and adapt teaching approaches for certain pupils when required.
