An Exciting New Chapter for Kew College Prep

We are delighted to announce that, from September 2026, Kew College Prep will join the Hampton Schools’ Trust, a newly established group of strong, thriving and like-minded charitable independent schools in South West London. 

The Trust’s four founding member schools, Hampton, Hampton Prep and Pre-Prep, Newland House School and Kew College Prep share common values and a commitment to providing an outstanding academic and all-round education for every child. 

Joining the Trust will provide long-term stability and create new opportunities for our pupils, staff and families, while preserving the warmth, individuality and distinctive character that make Kew College Prep so special. Each member school will retain its own name, leadership and identity, continuing to build on the qualities for which it is known and valued. 

Every school is joining the Trust from a position of strength, united by a belief that children’s best interests must remain at the heart of every decision. As not-for-profit schools, all fees paid by parents will be reinvested directly into the Trust, creating greater opportunities for pupils, staff and facilities. 

New Pathways to Exceptional Senior Schools 

One of the most significant benefits of joining the Hampton Schools’ Trust is access to new Assured Places schemes at boys’ school Hampton and their neighbouring girls’ school Lady Eleanor Holles, with whom they have a formal partnership agreement.  

The AP schemes will provide an alternative route to the usual 11+ entrance examination process. They will be offered on the basis of standardised assessments already undertaken at Kew College Prep, alongside information about each pupil’s academic progress and readiness for the next stage of their education.

Importantly, while the Trust creates exciting additional opportunities for pupils considering Hampton or LEH, our approach to senior school guidance remains unchanged. Our priority will always be helping each child find the school that is right for them. Families will continue to benefit from the same personalised support and expert advice, and pupils will continue to receive rigorous preparation for 11+ entrance to other senior schools.
