Hampton Schools’ Trust
We’re delighted to announce that from September 2026, Kew College Prep becomes a founding member of the Hampton Schools’ Trust.
The Trust brings together a group of strong, successful and like-minded charitable schools. The founding Trust members: Hampton School, Hampton Prep & Pre-Prep, Newland House School and Kew College Prep are all not-for-profit schools with a shared educational ethos that puts pupils first, providing them with the very best start in life in a warm, nurturing and intellectually challenging environment.

Why create our group?
The formation of the Trust will ensure that our schools can invest for the future and plan with confidence. For families, this means greater continuity and breadth, alongside clearer routes to exceptional senior school education for boys and girls.
While part of the Hampton Schools’ Trust family, each school will keep its current name, distinctive identity and character. The Trust will cherish, protect and strengthen these qualities.
This is a positive step, taken by schools which are already thriving. It reflects confidence in what we do today, and a shared ambition to build something even stronger together.
The advantages of coming together

The formation of the Hampton Schools’ Trust will bring a range of benefits, including:
- Clearer educational pathways to Hampton and LEH, via our new Assured Places Schemes
- Opportunities for pupils through shared facilities and enrichment opportunities
- Shared expertise and collaboration for staff
- Investing in our pupils
As a member of the Trust our pupils benefit from clearer educational pathways. Hampton’s formal partnership with their neighbouring girls’ school Lady Eleanor Holles (LEH), ensures that both boys and girls have the opportunity to gain Assured Places at two of the country’s leading single-sex senior schools.
Our pupils will also benefit from access to facilities across member schools, enjoying a wider range of experiences. In addition, member schools are also excited about the many benefits of professional collaboration across the Trust – sharing excellent practice, developing talent, and fostering an ideal environment for career development and progression.
Assured Places Schemes to Hampton and LEH
As members of the Hampton Schools’ Trust, boys and girls at Kew College Prep can take advantage of Assured Places Schemes to Hampton and LEH, which means they do not have to sit 11+ examinations. For more information on the Assured Places schemes click here.
Finding the Right School for Each Child
We understand that Hampton and LEH will not be the right choice of senior school for every pupil, and that families rightly want to ensure their child goes on to the school that is best for them. We will continue to maintain and promote our excellent relationships with a wide range of leading senior schools and provide the excellent academic and all-round education that fully prepares pupils to apply elsewhere with confidence for 11+ entry.
