Year 6 Fundraising Sale for Shelter

Year 6 recently hosted our second pupil led event of the term. They were supported by our fabulous charity leaders, and the group facilitated a book sale for the charity Shelter, who support those devastated by the housing emergency. It was great having such a community feel to this, as many children across the school donated their once-loved books to the Year 6 event, which were gratefully received.

The children were confident in organising this event together and should be congratulated for using their initiative. A huge well done to all for ensuring this smooth-running event. All donations will go to Shelter, and the total raised was a wonderful £453.58. We are, as always, humbled by the generosity of parental donations for this wonderful cause.
