What an amazing day, and what amazing runners! A hat trick of wins and overall champions – it doesn’t get much better! Our girls cross-country runners represented the school at the annual OVS invitational relay event. It was a perfect day for cross-country and our teams truly inspired. The Year 4 team kicked things off, leading from the front and never relinquishing it, forging over the finish line comfortably ahead of the other 7 schools! Next, our first timers from Year 3 paced it perfectly and held their nerve showing that the future of running at school is in
safe hands by winning their race! Pressure was building on the Year 5s and 6s as they took to the start line. The Year 6 team dug deep, keeping in touch and showing strong legs in each lap, the team did amazingly well and helped cement the successful day. The Year 5 team were sensible, sticking with the front runners and gradually picking them off and taking the lead at the start of the final lap, huge congratulations to them all. Thank you to all the supporters and for the wonderful team spirit that everyone showed!

We are sorry to hear about the closure of local Prep School and Nursery, Ashton House. We are conscious that this is a very unsettling time for Ashton House parents and children and, as we have had several enquiries, we are opening up additional tours on Wednesday 4th June and Friday 6th June for anyone looking for a Prep School or Nursery place. Click here to book a place on a tour.
