On Friday 10th November, a small group of Year 4 children lead a Diwali themed Junior House Assembly, accompanied by their parents. Ishaan, Anahita, Ahaan, Araav and Krish gave a wonderful presentation on the ‘Festival of Light’, the origins of Diwali and how they each celebrate at home with their family and friends. This included the eating of delicious homecooked food and sweets, watching fireworks and the giving of gifts. It was as vibrant, colourful, and very thoughtful assembly, giving the children a real insight into the annual Hindu celebration. Well done to all involved!

We are sorry to hear about the closure of local Prep School and Nursery, Ashton House. We are conscious that this is a very unsettling time for Ashton House parents and children and, as we have had several enquiries, we are opening up additional tours on Wednesday 4th June and Friday 6th June for anyone looking for a Prep School or Nursery place.
