Year 2 Scooter Training

There was a lot of excitement this morning as the children brought their scooters and helmets into school. The children had the opportunity to develop their scooter skills, moving in a controlled way and avoiding obstacles set out in the playground. They were taught to always remember the four ‘C’s, be careful, concentrate, be considerate and remain controlled! They had great fun learning these rules whilst playing ‘Granny’s footsteps’ and ‘Follow the leader’. We are very lucky to have this small group training from The London Borough of Richmond.
