Year 3 trip to the British Museum

On Wednesday 8 March, Year 3 embarked on an adventure at The British Museum. To support both English and History lessons, the pupils explored the ancient Egyptian galleries where they studied a vast range of artefacts. Year 3 pupils recognised various ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses that were depicted, admired hieroglyphs and were filled with excitement, curiosity and expertise when they found the ancient Egyptian mummies. Pupils worked diligently to take notes in preparation for the opportunity to write and reflect their knowledge in a fact file about an ancient Egyptian artefact.
