Year 6 were treated to a gloriously sunny day as they visited Bletchley Park – the secret home of the codebreakers during World War 2. The children got to visit places such as Alan
Turing’s office, watched the whirling bombe machine, and other amazing artefacts from the time. Our guided tour was informative and enthralling, and the pupils worked tirelessly to decode messages in the educational workshop. A highlight of the day was when the children (and staff) were able to touch and use a real Enigma machine! A huge thank you to the staff who took the children to the park.
