Sports Day 2022

Cheering students at one of our sports days

WHAT A SCORCHER!

Finally, after a two-year break, Sports Day was back, and a most spectacular day of weather. Sprinting, egg and spoon, sack and obstacle races were the order of the day.

The Waka Waka dance got us off to a great start, followed by a hotly contested tug-of-war. There was cheering, competition and lots of hot but smiley competitors. It was great fun and the soaking that everyone got in the obstacle race was much-needed and a refreshing end to a hot, hot day. The parents’ race, as always, was very competitive. Well done if you took part – your children really do love to watch you and congratulations to all the winners. A huge thank you to all the staff, especially Mr Matt and to all your parents for cheering and embracing the sports day spirit.

Final winners were: Tug-of-war – CONDOR, House relay – CONDOR, Sports Day Cup -EAGLE Mrs Tabor, Head of Sport
